Television Rots Your Brain

A friend and I started stenciling today. We watched some tutorials and played in InDesign for a couple of hours and then did a few practise runs. This is the file I came up with:

I'd like to put this up outside television studios and suburban meccas, except it currently looks like this out of the can:

 

  

Blotchy, drippy, in reverse - I haven't sussed out anchoring yet, and I cut out the white bits of my stencil instead of the black bits. I haven't even thought about trying the type yet.
